We are packing tonight to return home to Dublin tomorrow, all sad to be leaving this beautiful place. Louise and family - thank you for your warm hospitality. Patrice, thank you for escorting us on our canoe trip - a highlight for all of us. Ben, thank you for the weather reports which read, "A storm every night"! The people of Montguyon are so friendly and tolerant of the most basic spoken French. Everywhere we have visited the local people have been welcoming and friendly. Bastille Night in Montguyon is the #1 voted highlight by this family, a pageant in the castle with a cast of talent that included knights on horseback, damsels, wolves, bears, and lots of fireworks. Bordeaux is a beautiful city and the shopping is fantastic. We will drive like rally-drivers for one more day!

"What a holiday! Wow! I enjoyed everything from going to the Dordogne to playing with Ben and Hugo in the pool. Tarka and Tiny were so cuddly. I've been begging my parents to get me a dog, goat, chicken, rabbit, etc. Thanks to Super Ben, Hugo, Louise, Romain, Audrey, and everybody else at Fontbouillant.
